“Corroded is a song dealing with coming to terms with the aging process and how that relates to the overall themes of mortality that run throughout the entirety of “Someone Becomes No One”. To accent the lyrics and theme for the verses, I wanted a brooding and aching guitar melody that invokes an impending doom. By the finale of the song, I wanted it to sound like a street party with acceptance and celebration instead of dread and fear.”
